We have partnered with Aspen Ski & Board, a successful brick-and-mortar Ski and Snowboard Shop in Lewis Center, Ohio, to manage and grow an e-commerce presence through their website, aspenskiandboard.com. In order for this partnership to be successful, Momentum has to utilize all of our skills, including Google Adwords PPC, Local SEO, and Website Design and Management. Since our partnership began in August 2016, sales have been steadily increasing every single month, and we have just recently launched an iOS App where customers can purchase directly from the app!
The Power Of Selling
Aspen Ski & Board will go down as one of our most successful relationships since we opened our doors in 2015. The biggest challenge with Aspen Ski & Board is that they are a reseller, constricted to minimum advertised pricing from their suppliers, limiting our ability to advertise sales. Achieving the 1300% sales increase we managed took a great deal of effort across multiple different platforms. We took advantage of dynamic Facebook retargeting to put their products in front of their customers on top of the Adwords spending we had in place. We also used a multi-sequence email campaign along with an abandoned-cart-app to remind users to checkout and purchase the items they shopped for on their site.
We spoke with Aspen Ski & Board about what issue they were currently having with their current website and what improvements we could offer in a redesign.
We gave AS&B a variety of website template options to choose from that would be the core foundation of their new website. We also suggested Adwords management with an emphasis on Google Shopping and targeted remarketing.
We gathered as much content as possible from Aspen Ski & Board. It was a mixture of copy & images from their product catalog, new items coming into the store, and products they wanted to feature. We also wrote blog content for them to bolster awareness.
At the beginning of our relationship, Aspen Ski & Board was a brick-and-mortar store with little no web-presence whatsoever, but thanks to shopify, social retargeting, and a few apps to keep site-engagement higher we were able to increase sales by 1300% over 8 months.
